Going on about how pissed off I am at the douche that brought us here will just waste the ink and a page of paper. None of us are happy about this. I am really not happy Merton came back hurt. And what sort of person sends a child to do something potentially that dangerous? I just hope if I die in this fucking place God forgives me for not having last rights or being able to go to confession considering I don't see any priests around.
Also the chairs in this infirmary blow.

This really doesn't help my staying sober. The whole waking up someplace I'm not supposed to the day after I leave rehab. I was looking forward to the parties too. The Potter guy just saved the world and all. Maybe it is best I didn't get to go to the parties too much temptation.
I have always wanted to work at a candy shop though...that sounds loads of fun.

ABILITIES OF POWER: Pretty much the pied piper Gideon can use music to alter the state of another person’s mood to the point of pulling them to him without them even knowing.
LIMITATIONS OF POWER: Gideon can only use his power through a vehicle for it. Be it guitar or bagpipe his power does not work with his own voice and it only works if the person is within earshot and can hear him playing.
PERSONALITY: Beating to his own drum would easily describe Gids. He is a guy that missed out on a lot of brains when they were given out, or so it seems, even though he really didn't. While not doing rocket science any time soon Gids is dedicated and if he applied himself is capable of a vast majority of things.
Gids doesn’t have a mean or cruel bone in his body unless the person has wronged him or someone he loves before. Protective to a fault Gids would easily lay down his life for those he cares about.
Rebellious and untrusting of authority was just an attribute Gids developed because of his unfortunate upbringing. He despises the Ministry and especially the git that put him in all his foster homes before they just gave up and let him stay with his aunt.
Though it might be hard to fathom it by looking at him or his lifestyle Gideon can’t get past being highly religious thanks to his upbringing and the fact he was drug to mass every Sunday by his mother before her death. It is one of the many ways he copes with all the loss he has had to endure in his very short life.
Gideon is rather terrified of opening himself up and caring for another person. Everyone he has truly loved in his life has died leaving him horribly alone. His greatest fear is loosing his band mates the only real family he has to speak of.
HISTORY: Born on the first snow of the coming winter Gideon was the first son to Brenna and Aidan Crumb. Brenna was a lovely young Irish girl that had fallen in love with Aidan when she was in school and never bothered to get back on the Hogwarts Express to travel home. Life was hard for the family, they didn’t make much but what they had they were thankful for.
When Gideon was five when disaster struck. Both of his parents fell ill to a unusually nasty case of Wizarding Flu that seemed to take Hogsmeade by storm. Both of his parents ended up dying from it leaving him with only one surviving relative that truly couldn’t take him in. Gideon’s Aunt Aislinn was now Sister Aislinn and wasn’t really able to care for him how he needed. Gideon was bounced from foster home to foster home. He never stayed at one long his grief for loosing his parents turning into him acting out against all of them. It came to the point no one would take him so he was sent to Saint Arthur’s a Catholic Orphanage in Hogsmeade.
The Sisters and the two lone priests at Saint Arthur’s were wonderful people and they somehow managed to straighten Gideon out as much as he could be. It was a labor of love. The true breakthrough came with the young priest Father Ewan. He took to guiding Gideon and began teaching Gideon his one weakness the bagpipe. Gideon was a natural at the strange haunting instrument and learning from Father Ewan curbed a great deal of angst and aggression towards those at the orphanage just trying to help him.
There was no surprise when Gideon received his Hogwarts letter. The surprise came that the boy actually had to go to King’s Cross and catch a train all the way back to the place he had started. He did just that though and that night at the sorting he was placed with the loyal and hard working.
Gideon was a nice fit in Hufflepuff and his fellow puffs helped him along his way to being less rebellious and helped him mellow a good deal. His years in school seemed to fly by and while he didn’t flunk out he didn’t get any spectacular grades. Thankfully he had met a few interesting people while in school. He formed a band with them and they started playing a few gigs here and there. It was at one of those early gigs he met Keira. She was a precious thing and Gids instantly fell and fell hard. It was only a few months before they were married and she was carrying his child.
Gids’ happy marriage wasn’t to last though. Keira was a tiny girl and she was constantly having complications and at seven months she was rushed to Mungo’s when she passed out and the bleeding started. Gideon was a nervous wreck through all of it and it didn’t get any better. He was devastated when he was told he lost his young wife. His son was premature and he named him the name Keira wanted to name him. Avery didn’t make it past a week being far too small and two months premature.
Gideon fell into a bottle after their deaths though he tried not to. He pushed himself into the band trying to fill the holes with playing gigs, and writing music. The whole is still there and the only thing that comes close to filling it is a warm body in his bed or a stiff drink. Or that used to be how it was. Gideon has actually managed to clean himself up a bit. He checked himself into rehab not long after the war started and has been hiding out there as the war raged on out around him in the world. He had just finished his stay in rehab when it was declared Voldemort was defeated.
OCCUPATIONAL HISTORY: Gideon has only been a musician and only a musician unless you count the fact he was an alter boy as a kid.
